W honor of the exemplary service and contribution to the safety of the residents of Chojnice county, the Meritorious Policeman badge was awarded to Junior Inspector Sebastian Pastucha, the District Police Commander in Chojnice. As for the Golden Badge, it was received by Chief Aspirant Waldemar Goliński, the head of the community policing unit in Charzykowy. Both officers were recognized for their long-standing impeccable service. During the ceremonial academy, promotions to higher ranks were granted to Senior Aspirant Magdalena Zblewska and Aspirant Aleksandra Drobińska from the Chojnice Police Command. The awards were presented by the Provincial Police Commander, Chief Inspector Tomasz Michułka, and his deputy Chief Inspector Bogusław Ziemba. The Police Day celebrations not only served as an occasion for awards but also held symbolic significance this year, marking the centenary of womens service in the Polish Police. The events started with a solemn mass at the Basilica of St. Brigid in Gdańsk, followed by the main academy at the Museum of the Second World War, concluding with a family picnic on the Gdynia waterfront featuring shows, concerts, and activities for the residents.
